Our consulting services are different from what a stained glass studio would offer, we are independent and not affiliated with any stained glass studio. The Stained Glass industry in the United States in general is decades behind the advancements in conservation and preservation techniques utilized across Europe. There are often better options and solutions available to you than what most studio representatives are willing, or able to recommend. Many stained glass studios do not like independent stained glass consultants, They claim we end up raising costs for the owner. The truth is, we often help save the owners money by eliminating unnecessary recommendations. We will greatly reduce the risk of damage from inappropriate techniques and methods. We will maintain accountability and ensure that what work is done, is done properly based on international specifications, and is done to a much higher standard.

We are located in the heart of the Midwest and service the continental United States.
I created a series of large stained glass murals of the four seasons of Yosemite. I began this project in 1986 and completed the final mural in 2022. Now I needed an accurate and detailed report of their fair market value and condition.
Through research and referrals, we found the National Stained Glass Consulting Group. We thoroughly checked their credentials and Karl Erickson and Cynthia Gallagher are extremely knowledgeable about all of the intricacies involved in stained glass. They have a combined experience of over 70 years dealing with large projects in construction and restoration and actually working on Tiffany studio creations.
We had many conference calls with Cynthia and she did a very thorough replacement value report on the murals. She shares her expertise and knowledge of stained glass. We have really enjoyed working with her.
Karl came to California and inspected the murals in situ and gave us a very professional report on their condition and the aesthetic value of the murals unique work of art. We were very impressed with Karl’s knowledge and experience. It was great meeting him!
